City Water and Light (CWL) is seeking a highly talented and motivated individual to fill the position of Accountant in our office located at 400 E. Monroe, Jonesboro, AR.

The individual will be responsible for the timely preparation of financial statements, investment records, fixed asset records, energy purchases/sales, closing of work in progress jobs, processing payroll, and other accounting responsibilities as needed.

Candidates with utility accounting experience a plus. Candidates must have a CPA designation or working toward a CPA designation.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or related field required. A minimum of three years work experience is desired. Ability to work with a variety of personalities in a positive, cooperative manner is a must. Valid Arkansas driver’s license required.
