City Water and Light (CWL) is seeking a highly talented and motivated individual to fill the position of Internal Auditor in our office located at 400 E. Monroe, Jonesboro, AR.

The individual will be responsible for monitoring CWL’s internal control over all assets. Review programs, policies, and procedures to ensure their efficiency/control, as well as assisting external auditors. Recommend to management methods to improve/upgrade control & install new programs. Preparing annual budget with assistance from general accounting.

Candidates with utility accounting experience a plus. Candidates must have a CPA designation.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or related field required. A minimum of three years work experience is desired. Ability to work with a variety of personalities in a positive, cooperative manner is a must. Valid Arkansas driver’s license required.
